In a beautiful sunny morning in Nijkerk, the YXT 24 Evolution touches water for the first time.
Sold in May 2017 to an American enterpreneur, this is the second 24 m superyacht support vessel and the fourth yacht overall built by our shipyard. With the exterior designed by Bernd Weel, the naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design and the interior design by Darnet Design, she represents the intensive work of our team to create a custom-built yacht to support her passionate owner on his quest for action and adventure at sea.
What makes this YXT 24 particularly special is her strength as a platform for sport, exploration and adventure. With her spacious lazarette accessible from the swim platform and 75 sqm of deck space, the yacht provides plenty of room for the storage of equipment, tenders and toys, including the owner’s personal Land Rover Defender, enabling him to explore on land as well as at the sea.
“It has been a pleasure to work with this client.” says Filippo Rossi, our sales and marketing manager “His passion for yachting and for the sea is infectious. He knows exactly how he wants to use his YXT and this has helped us to adapt the vessel for him. At Lynx Yachts, we are committed to detail and quality. Everything we do is centred on the user experience, meaning that this fantastic yacht is completely tailor-made to suit the needs and wishes of her owner. We are really proud of the result of this project; it shows the true flexibility of the YXT platform and the levels of customisation we can achieve.”
Lynx Yachts is more and more becoming a reference point in the shadow vessel sector, which is gaining day by day more popularity amongst superyacht owners.
After the christening ceremony, owner’s representatives, designers, media, guests, friends and LYNX team enjoyed a convivial outdoor lunch on the banks of the canal next to the shipyard.
